Smart Energy GB — free information on smart meters and how to arrange installation

Smart Energy GB provides independent, public information about smart meters, how they work and the benefits they bring, and explains how to arrange a free smart meter installation through your energy supplier. The advice is available to everyone in the UK via the Smart Energy GB website and helplines; the actual meter installation is arranged and carried out free of charge by your chosen energy supplier under their own roll‑out programmes. The site helps you understand eligibility and what to expect during installation.
