OLIO is a free app and service that connects neighbours and local businesses to share surplus food (and household items) that would otherwise go to waste; listing and collecting items is free for users. Any UK resident can download the app, create a profile and start offering or requesting items from nearby contributors; it’s community‑driven and free to use, with local collection arranged between listers and collectors.
