parkrun — free weekly community 5K runs

parkrun organises free, timed 5K walks, jogs and runs in parks and green spaces across the UK every Saturday, open to all ages and fitness levels with volunteer support. Participation is free but requires a one-time online registration to get a personal barcode, which you bring to each event to record your time; events are run by local volunteer teams and are family-friendly.
