parkrun — free weekly community 5k runs and junior events

parkrun organises free, timed 5k runs every Saturday (and shorter junior events for children) in parks and open spaces across the UK, welcoming all ages and abilities. You register once online for free to receive a printable barcode, then turn up at any event to take part — there is no charge and events are run by volunteers. parkrun promotes inclusive participation, and routes and start times are listed on the website.
