parkrun — Free Community 5K and Junior Events

parkrun organises free, weekly timed 5 km runs for adults and 2 km junior events for children across hundreds of UK locations; events are open to everyone and there is no charge to take part. Participants register once online to receive a personal barcode, then simply turn up to a local event on the day to run, walk or volunteer; parkrun is community‑led and free to use. The events are inclusive, family‑friendly and provide a no‑cost way to exercise and meet people in your area.
