OLIO — free app for sharing surplus food and household items locally

OLIO is a free community app that connects neighbours and local businesses to give away surplus food and household items so others can collect them for free; listings commonly include surplus groceries, home‑cooked food and non‑perishable items. Anyone can download the app, create an account and either offer items to share or browse and arrange local pick‑ups; businesses can also list surplus food to reduce waste. The service is free to use, though users organise collections themselves and should follow basic food‑safety guidance when sharing.
