Neighbour-to-neighbour surplus food sharing with OLIO

OLIO is a free app that lets neighbours and local businesses list surplus food and household items for free collection, helping reduce waste and connect communities. Anyone in the UK can download the app, create an account and either offer or request items; listings are free and arranged between users. OLIO also provides guidance for safe food sharing and connects to local volunteers and ‘food waste heroes’ who help redistribute surplus from businesses.
