National Museums – free entry to many national museum collections

The National Museums network in the UK lists over 30 national museums and cultural institutions that offer free general admission to their permanent collections, enabling visitors to access art, history and science displays at no charge. Free entry is generally available to all UK residents and visitors for standard exhibitions; some special exhibitions or events may charge a fee. Use the National Museums homepage to find participating museums, opening times and details of any ticketed exhibitions or special displays.
