Libby (OverDrive) — borrow e‑books and audiobooks free with a library card

Libby is an app by OverDrive that lets UK library members borrow e‑books and audiobooks from their public library’s digital collection at no charge. To use it you need an active UK library card from a participating council library; once signed in you can borrow, place holds and stream or download titles to phones, tablets and e‑readers. There are no fees to borrow — lending limits and wait times are set by each library service.
