The Freecycle Network is a grassroots online community that helps people give away unwanted household items for free to others in their local area, reducing waste and saving money. Any UK resident can join their local Freecycle group, post items they want to give away or search for items they need; membership and listings are free of charge. To take part, go to the Freecycle homepage, find your nearest group, create an account and follow the local posting and collection arrangements set by group moderators.
