Free weekly community runs with parkrun

parkrun organises free, timed, weekly 5km runs in parks and open spaces across the UK — there are also junior events for children. They are volunteer-led and open to anyone regardless of age or ability; participation is free but you need to register once online for a barcode which records your time. To take part, register on the parkrun website, print or save your barcode, and turn up to any local parkrun on a scheduled Saturday (or Junior parkrun midweek) to run, jog or walk.
