Free weekly community 5k runs with parkrun

parkrun organises free, timed 5k runs every weekend across hundreds of UK locations and free junior events for children; these events are open to everyone and free to join after a simple online registration. You register once on the parkrun website to get a barcode, then turn up at any local parkrun to take part at no cost; it’s volunteer-run and welcomes walkers, joggers and runners of all abilities.
