Free weekly 5k community runs and junior events with parkrun

parkrun organises free, timed 5km runs and junior 2km events across parks and open spaces in the UK every weekend, open to all ages and abilities with no charge to participate; runners register once on the parkrun website to receive a personal barcode, then simply turn up at a local parkrun event to take part. Events are volunteer-led, inclusive and aimed at encouraging regular physical activity and community engagement at no cost.
