Free local surplus food sharing with OLIO

OLIO is a free app that connects neighbours and local businesses to share surplus food and household items at no cost; anyone can join to post or request items, which helps reduce waste and supports people on tight budgets. OLIO is free to download and use for UK residents — create an account, browse available items in your area, message the poster to arrange collection and follow the app’s guidance on safety and hygiene when sharing food or goods.
