Free entry to many national museum permanent collections

NationalMuseums collects and lists UK national museums that offer free admission to their permanent collections; this provides cost-free access to art, history and science exhibits for UK residents and international visitors. While special exhibitions or events may charge, entry to the core displays at many national institutions is free — you can check opening times, access information and any charges on the museums’ pages via the NationalMuseums website before visiting.
