Free community 5k runs and junior events via parkrun

parkrun runs free, weekly 5km timed runs at parks across the UK (and free junior events for children), open to everyone regardless of ability; registration is free and you need to print or save a simple barcode to take part. Events are volunteer‑led, welcoming and free of charge — you can walk, jog or run and participation is casual and supportive. Register online at parkrun.org.uk, find your local event and bring your barcode on the day to have your result recorded.
