Free community 5k parkrun and junior parkrun events

parkrun organises free, weekly, timed 5km runs (and free junior events for children) at parks and open spaces across the UK; events are open to everyone regardless of ability and there’s no fee to join. Runners register once online for a barcode, then turn up on any local parkrun day, sign in and take part; the events are volunteer‑run, safe and family‑friendly, making them a long‑standing free way to build fitness and community connections across the UK.
