Citizens Advice provides free, confidential and independent advice on debt, housing, employment, benefits, consumer rights and legal issues to people in England and Wales (with equivalent Citizens Advice Scotland and NI services). Help is available online, by phone or through local bureaux; anyone can access general guidance and referrals and eligibility for full casework support depends on individual circumstances — the service is free and funded by the government and charitable grants.
